Online Resources

FOR OUR CURRENT CLIENTS

We recognize the selfless and often unexpected nature of kinship care, and we’re here to provide the tools and support you need to thrive.

Our virtual training sessions offer a convenient way to enhance your caregiving skills and knowledge. Held every second Wednesday of the month at noon, these sessions cover a variety of relevant topics. We also maintain a library of on-demand training recordings, allowing you to access information on topics ranging from trauma-informed care and online schooling to legal issues, child development, and self-care at your own pace.

Our virtual Kinship Caregiver Peer Support Group provides a safe and supportive space to collaborate with other kinship caregivers. Here, you can connect and rejuvenate, share common experiences, learn coping strategies, focus on self-care, and support others navigating similar situations. The English support group meets on the first Thursday of each month at noon via Zoom.

Beyond training and peer support, we offer a wide array of caregiver resources to address the diverse needs of kinship families. These resources span a variety of critical areas, including information on how to request free services, access program overviews, explore trauma-informed care resources, navigate legal matters, find caregiver resources related to childcare, education, and health, secure financial assistance, locate educational support, connect with mental health services, arrange transportation, secure housing, and access technology support. We are committed to providing comprehensive support and empowering kinship families to thrive. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or require further assistance. We are here to help.
